Because we get a lot of article submissions (which I love), I have to admit, one thing that is very frustrating to us as editors, is the misuse of words.

While it is mostly unintended, some just don't try to figure out which is the correct way to use certain words.

Early today I added a post in our Help Desk (near the bottom of "Why was my article rejected?") that covered these exact issues.

Then this evening as I was reading an article on CNN, I came across this sitting in the "Across the web" suggestions.
