We all know that books are an important part of our lives. They give us knowledge and information that we need to be able to have a more enriching existence. They can be able to enrich our imagination and creativity and our character as a person. People read because of many reasons. We all know that books are an important part of our lives. They give us knowledge and information that we need to be able to have a more enriching existence. They can be able to enrich our imagination and creativity and our character as a person. People read because of many reasons. There are those who read to get rid of boredom and be entertained while others do it to gain more knowledge about a certain topic.

Since then, books have always been a part of our lives. Books give us knowledge and information that we need to be able to have a more enriching existence. They can be able to enrich our imagination and creativity and our character as a person. There can be different reasons why people read. There are those who read to get rid of boredom and be entertained while others do it to gain more knowledge about a certain topic. While others read and get very passionate about it. At times, these people seek the company of others who share their interest. A community group is builti with whom they could sit down, discuss and give their opinions on certain books they have read and would like to recommend to someone.

Book clubs are groups composed of book enthusiasts. These are those who share a common interest and love for stories or information in the written word. Frequently, they meet in a specific place and time and discuss certain topics from what they have read or agreed to read. These groups give their members the opportunity to share their thoughts. Clubs come in small groups and meet regularly usually. At times, people find it difficult to find time to meet their fellow members regularly, especially with their hectic work schedules. Traditional clubs also tend to limit the growth of the members because their reach is usually limited as well.

However, nowadays, with the help of technology and the Internet, book enthusiasts can be part of a book club online. They can join discussions but this time through chats, forums and emails right in the comfort of their own homes or offices using their own PC.
