When I was still pregnant, I went shopping for baby clothes and other necessary baby items and I looked for an effective baby monitor (preferably a video one) that I could use. My husband and I had just set up the nursery for the little one but we still needed a baby monitor so that we could keep tabs on our child where ever we were in the house once he was born. Audio Monitors are no longer good enough, for me, to monitor a baby. I now prefer to use baby video monitors because I can see what all my baby gets up to while in their nursery. So I went looking online for the video baby monitors and I came across the summer Infant monitor in one of my searches.
You will be amazed at how easily you will be able to check on your baby from anywhere with this Summer Infant Best View monitor. If your baby is at the stage where he/she is able to move around in the crib, then any type of video monitor will be specifically useful for you. With a video monitor you will be able to see and hear your baby at all times, unlike with an audio monitor where you can only hear them. The Best View monitor by Summer Infant comes with a very sleek design, and also the camera could be mounted anywhere you would like. I recommend that you place the monitor in a strategic place so that you can see the whole crib along with the surrounding area.
The fact that you can catch feeds from up to four cameras is probably the best thing about the Summer Infant Best View handheld color video monitor, and it also allows you not to worry that much about your baby's whereabouts. You are able to put up a camera in almost every room in the house for easy monitoring of your baby's activities. And the fact that your monitor is handheld allows you to take it wherever you can. To be honest, it exceeded my expectations once I tried it out. The battery life is so convenient that I only charge it once a day, sometimes once in two days.
This baby monitor seems too good to be true, right? On the other hand, there are some things I have found that gave me some sort of disappointment. The video quality is not as good as I expected some kind of hi-def quality. Yes, this is the only major flaw in my eyes apart from other lesser yet annoying glitches.
As I look at my baby right now on the monitor, I marvel at how far we've come in technology when it comes to baby's safety. It gives me comfort knowing that, with this Summer Infant monitor, I can be with my baby all the time.
