British eco-friendly invention set to change the world of golf

A British inventor has filed for a patent on a unique golf transporter concept that incorporates a host of features and benefits that it is believed will revolutionise how golf is played by many golfers around the world.

Apart from the obvious health benefits that are evident in the design of the concept   allowing the golfer to sit, stand on, walk behind or even operate the equipment via remote control, it is its eco friendliness that has been a major driving force in its development.

The inventor is quoted as saying“ I hope that in its own small way, the “MuliTasker” will help change the golfing worlds attitude towards the golf cart and its impact up on our environment, through the use of solar power as its primary energy source.”

With up to one million golf carts (or buggies as they are often called in the U.K.) being regularly used on golf courses around the world, the time has come for the golfing industry to do its bit and make the sport more eco-friendly. Taking the U.S. as an example as it has by far the largest number golf courses on the planet (around 50%) and an average rental fleet size averaging 47. To compound matters approx 45% of the golf carts that ride around the fairways that are not even electric, but petrol.

The inventor says “now that the I have patent pending the next step is to find a suitable investor to take the invention into production or alternatively find a company interested a licensing areement”
