Does it take the Internet to make a modern day millionaire? The dreams of being an entrepreneur can become a reality.

Most people aspire to become a millionaire in one way or another, as is evidenced by the popular television show, 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'? For many however, they allow themselves to become trapped by the 'system' into thinking they do not have what it takes to be successful. This couldn't be further from the truth.
Microsoft was advertising for cleaners. An unemployed man felt he should apply for the position. The Microsoft manager couldn't see any harm in giving the guy an aptitude test.
At the completion of the test, the manager told the man, "You will be employed for a minimum wage of $5.00 an hour. Give me have your e-mail address, so I can send you a form to complete and tell you where to report for work".
The man objected saying he didn't have either a compute and had no use for an e-mail address.
The Microsoft manager snapped back, "That says that you are virtually nonexistent and can't be expected to be employed by Microsoft".
The man left, absolutely stunned. Ten dollars was all that he had left. Suddenly the man had a flash of Blue Moon Opportunity and decided to buy 25 lb of lush red tomatoes from the market. In less than two hours he had sold all the tomatoes one by one, and achieved a 100% profit.
The man kept repeating this process several more times that day and ended up with almost $100.00 in his pocket, before going to sleep that night. He discovered he could quite easily make a living selling tomatoes.
Each day he would rise up early and not go to bed until very late, as he continued the process over and over again. He quickly tripled the amount of his profit.
It was not long before he was able to purchase a cart to convey several dozen boxes of tomatoes, only to have to trade it in again so that he could buy a pickup truck to support his continuously expanding business. By the end of the second year, the 'unemployed man' owned a fleet of pickup trucks and managed a staff of a hundred former-unemployed people, all selling tomatoes.
Deciding to provide for the future of his wife and children, he thought it was time to purchase some life insurance. After consultation with an insurance broker, he picked out an insurance plan that he believed would fit his new circumstances. The adviser asked him for his e-mail address, so he could electronically send the final documents.
The man replied that he did not have an e-mail address. The shocked insurance broker gasped, "'What, you don't have e-mail? How in the world have you been able to amass such a fortune without the Internet, e-mail and e-commerce? Can you imagine where you'd have been now, if you'd been connected to the Internet right from the very beginning"!
Yes replied the tomato millionaire, "I would just be a
cleaner at Microsoft"!
1. Cyber Space does not need to rule your life if you have the spirit of an entrepreneur.
2. Hard work, not an email, can make you a millionaire.
3. Since you have read this story through the Internet, you're probably more likely to become a cleaner than you are to become a millionaire.
4. If you do have a computer and e-mail address, you have already been taken to the cleaners by Microsoft.
5. If you have the spirit of an entrepreneur and dreams of becoming a millionaire, never quit. Look for that once in a lifetime Blue Moon Opportunity. Think outside the box. Don't listen to the negative speaking crowd that surrounds you. Where there is a will there is a will.
Men like Sydney Myer, with huge entrepreneurial drive that created the successful Australian wide chain of Myer Stores. His family were refugees from Moscow in the late 1900's.
