Numbers - For Executives &
Serious Entrepreneurs
NUMBERS
is a FREE information and contact publication for
executives and serious entrepreneurs who need answers
but don't have endless amounts of time to cull through
thousands of search engine responses for their answers.
NUMBERS is designed specifically for business people who
want to increase sales, increase profits, cut taxes, cut
government regulation and generally approach the 21st
Century World of Business tactfully but aggressively!
If the measure of a successful enterprise is the profits
which are accumulated during any given period of time
then many factors must be considered by today's managers
and executives. Large businesses have the
resources to employ specialists in each valid category
of the management team; such as, Marketing, Financial,
Accounting, Tax, Employee, Shipping, Engineering,
Design, Development, Research, Production, etc. The
small business doesn't have this luxury; they must make
a profit utilizing only a few executives to fill all
functional roles, sometimes the business is so small
that the owner must fill all executive, production,
design and developmental roles themselves.
Consultants are the answer and because they are
generally considered expensive you must do a lot of
reading and a lot of studying so you can at least become
proficient in the major tasks at hand. This is not
an easy chore especially when necessary material is so
wide spread and difficult to evaluate, accumulate and
assimilate.
Our mission is to deliver that material to your desktop
each Monday morning so you can print and read at times
appropriate to your schedule. This approach will
allow you the extra daily time to attend to those
business functions which are so vital to your success
rather than spending it surfing the "net"!
The two most important factors are generation of sales
and containment of costs. What most managers and
executives don't realize is that the generation of sales
includes such important factors as human resources,
customer service, design, production and shipping along
with the obvious element of product pricing, product
benefit, customer accumulation and retention.
These elements are all embodied within the discipline of
Marketing and for that reason we will spend a great deal
of effort bringing the wisdom of many varied marketing
resources to your attention over the next 52 weeks.
Cost containment is generally perceived as a function of
making the parts in-house or squeezing your vendors
until they scream. This may or may not be true
depending on the product or service you are selling.
But; there are elements not considered very often as
cost containment items and they are Taxation and
Liability. These two items probably account for
more expense to your profitable existence than all the
other costs combined and yet they are generally ignored.
Most small business managers just say; "what can I
do, they are a necessary evil and then they throw up
their hands".
There is a lot you can do and we will bring you concise
strategies to help you deal with these costs
appropriately.
