You might be an adventure lover, a loner or a party person, step out and let go. The sprawling beaches offer you the solitude you may have been longing for, but don’t mistake them to be just that. There is an element of adventure at every Goan Beach. In the day time, it’s time for the crazy ‘you’ to explore the wind and the waves.

Wondering how? The answer in fact, is very simple. There is a horde of sporting activities available to you here. The Dona Paula Bay is evidently the best spot for Windsurfing, which is a quirky blend of sailing and surfing and depends on the wave and wind movements.

Another unusual sport is the ‘Beer and Sandwich’ Sailing or the Dinghy Sailing. Again the Dona Paula area is best suited for this relaxing treat because of its perfect wind conditions. Hire a Dinghy, which can comfortably hold three to four people and perfect for all age- groups, sit back with a chilled beer and munchies while the ripples of the sea take you on a ride of quietude.

Water Skiing is for those looking for an instant ‘unaided’ adrenalin rush. The speed boats sail in the sea at the speed of 30 to 40 miles per hour and have a capacity of carrying six to eight people at a time. Parasailing and Scuba Diving are among the more common water sporting activities offered here. Water Scooters, are for two people to ride off into the ocean and feel the soothing softness of the sea beneath them.

The adventurous thrills though have their own charm; nothing can beat the pleasures of a leisurely swim in an open ocean. Go for a dip in the huge watery expanse at any time of the day, dusk to dawn. The Beaches here are among the best in the Asian continent. If you are here looking for privacy with your partner, head out to the Canacona Beach on the Northern side of Goa.
The Agonda Beach is counted among the most scenic beaches and is perfect to stretch out and soak in the sun’s warmth with your nose in a book.

And before retiring for the day, look for night events in the happening yet sleepy city of Goa! The Baga Beach is the place to be, the heaven for hippies; Beach, sea food, party people and of course the perfect music- all the essential elements for a celebration are ever present in Goa.

Anjuna Beach and Vagator Beach are other favorites and are the liveliest places to be, for foodies, shoppers, strollers and party heads, these beaches have offerings for every breed.

Goa has a life of its own- an infectious one, at best!
