Nestled between the sea and the sky, Sea Cliff Hotel rests magnificently above the Indian Ocean. Our hotel is an oasis just 5km from Dar es Salaam’s vibrant city centre and nearby all that the city has to offer. Independent and privately owned, we aim to bring a very personal touch to every guest’s stay. From your Room Valet to the General Manager, everyone here performs his or her role with pride and passion. We live by the rule that we are only as good as our guests’ say we are and for this reason, we try harder and we go further. The hotel has 114 beautifully furnished rooms, all the facilities you would expect from a 5* hotel and a reputation for friendly, efficient service.

Locaiton
Just 5km from Dar es Salaam city centre and 22km from Julius Nyerere airport, we are conveniently situated yet a far cry from the noise and hubbub of the city centre. The area is known locally as the Peninsula / Msaki and is where you’ll find the popular bars, restaurants and shops, including many in the Sea Cliff Village shopping centre next door to the hotel.

Set among lush, beautifully manicured gardens beside the Indian Ocean, our 93 rooms nestle in an idyllic and tranquil setting.  For those requiring that extra touch, the hotel offers seven Executive Rooms, five Executive Suites and one magnificent Presidential / Honeymoon Suite.The rooms have a contemporary feel with a strong Swahili design influence to combine modern elegance with traditional Tanzanian warmth and character. All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, satellite television, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, digital safe, and complimentary wireless internet. We also have 21 Village Rooms located next door in Sea Cliff Village shopping center, offering great value for money with full access to the main hotel’s facilities.

Dining
We offer a wide range of dining options on site and are very proud of the consistently high quality food delivered. The Karambezi Café and The Alcove Restaurant are deservedly two of the city’s most popular restaurants and the Coral Cliff Bar and Kaskazi Private Members Lounge offer luxurious surroundings in which to enjoy drinks and light snacks. Next door in Sea Cliff Village shopping centre, guests can enjoy even more choice with many other restaurants and cafes to choose from.
